These bar associations do not accredit law schools as the task of doing so would be prohibitively expensive; the State bar associations rely on the ABA to accredit law schools for their quality and ABA approved law schools do meet the criteria for sitting the bar exams of each state in the U.S.

The Concord school of law provides online and distance legal education which allows Concord law school’s graduates to sit the California Bar exam but only after passing the First Year Law students examination as part of the requirement to take the California bar exam. This “baby bar” exam must be passed prior to eligibility to sit the full bar exam in California.
