"Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" is a delightful family musical based on the children's novel "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" by Roald Dahl. The movie stars Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka, the highly eccentric candy manufacturer and owner of a huge whimsical mysterious chocolate factory, as well as Peter Ostrum as Charlie, a very poor boy who ends up inheriting the factory and Jack Albertson as his peppy old Grandpa Joe.
